View Tribute and Sign Guestbook WOONSOCKET – Annette A. Omar, 75, of High Street, Manville, died on Monday, August 27, 2007, in the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. Born in Central Falls, RI, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Poulin) Lussier, she was the wife of the late Maurice J. Omar, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Manville and a communicant of St. James’ Church.
Mrs. Omar was a dress attender for various area textile mills and was last working for the former Worcester Company of North Providence before she retired in 1993. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose favorite pastimes were making puzzles, reading, knitting and crocheting.
She leaves three sons, Maurice J., Jr., and his wife Barbara Omar, George L. and his wife Michelle J. Omar, both of Manville, and Thomas R. and his wife Janice M. Omar of Woonsocket; one daughter with whom she lived, Diane M. and her husband Raymond J. Pariseau of Manville; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph and Paul Lussier.
