Cecile E. (Vandal) Therrien, age 87 of Flat Street, Cumberland and formerly of Winter Street in Manville died Thursday in the Grand View Nursing Home in Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Fred A. Therrien. She was born in Northbridge, MA on November 25, 1918, a daughter of the late George and Roseanne (Breault) Vandal. She was a communicant of St. James Church in Manville and had been an Inspector at the former Bancroft Racquet & Tennis Company of Pawtucket and Woonsocket for twenty- four years before retiring in 1979. She was an avid reader and a member of the Albion Golden Agers, St. Joseph's and St. Louis Seniors of Woonsocket and St. John Vianney Seniors of Cumberland. She leaves one son Robert L. and his wife Paula-Jean Therrien of North Kingston, RI and one daughter Ann Marie and her husband Michael Tadlock of Brookline, NH. Four grandsons Christian and Matthew Therrien and Chris & Alex Tadlock , one great grand daughter Zoey Tadlock and several nieces and nephews. One sister Anita Rainville of Manville. She was the brother of the late Gerard R. Vandal. Funeral InformationHer Funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. James Church, Division Street, Manville. Burial will follow in the Newell Burying Ground, West St. Attleboro. Calling hours SUNDAY in MENARD FUNERAL HOME 4 to 6 PM. |
