Evelyn I. (Johnson) LaFramboise

ATTLEBORO – Evelyn I. (Johnson) LaFramboise, 94, of Maple Street, Attleboro, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Life Care Center of Attleboro. Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Axel & Ida (Madsen) Johnson, she was the wife of the late Albert LaFramboise, Paul P. Yancowsky and Arthur Illingworth.

A resident of Attleboro most of her life, Mrs. LaFramboise worked as a waitress at Morin’s Diner for many years. She was an avid cribbage player, a member of the American Cribbage Congress, and a member of the Attleboro Council on Aging. She enjoyed doing crocheting.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra M. Corliss of Attleboro; two grandchildren, Sandra J. Ranahan and Donald S. Corliss, Jr.; three great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Theodore Johnson and the late Annie Matthews.
