Robert A. Laliberte

View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Robert A. Laliberte, age 77, of Robinson Avenue, South Attleboro died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the husband of Pauline C. (Dulude) Laliberte and they would have celebrated their 45th Wedding Anniversary on Labor Day. He was born in Central Falls, RI on December 25, 1928 a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Vadnais) Laliberte.
Mr. Laliberte was a life long resident of South Attleboro and was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church and was active in church affairs including serving as a lector and singing in the choir as well as a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He had been a member of the South Attleboro Council # 5876 Knights of Columbus. He had served with the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War and was a member of the DAV of Massachusetts Mr. Laliberte had been a Butcher for many area markets including the Armour Co. and the Sunshine Market of Central Falls for many years and was a Custodian for the Attleboro School Department for several years before retiring.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons Robert J. and his wife Lisa M. Laliberte and Craig S. Laliberte both of South Attleboro. One daughter Gerilyn C. and her husband Timothy W. Pariseau of South Attleboro. Four sisters Alice McGill of Rehoboth, Annette Boyle and Pauline Barselou of Attleboro and Mary McAnn of Pawtucket. One sister in law Joyce Laliberte of Scituate, RI. Three grandchildren Gareth and Emma Laliberte and Jacob Pariseau and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Paul and Norman Laliberte, Florence Boyle and Madeline Landry.
Funeral Information
His Funeral will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 9 AM from THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152) in Attleboro followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa's Church, Washington and Baltic Streets, South Attleboro. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne St. in the Village of Attleboro Falls in North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday, August 25, 2006 from 5 to 8 PM in Foley-Hathaway Funeral Home.
