Leonie M. (Rioux) Therriault

FALL RIVER – Leonie M. (Rioux) Therriault, 86, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2008, at the Dighton Nursing Home. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Joseph and Auora (Poisson) Rioux, she was the wife of the late Theodore J. Therriault.

She spent her life raising her family, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Therriault leaves six daughters, Helen Thompson, Charlene Letendre, and Cheryl Bouchard, all of Fall River, Christine Fillion of Assonet, Denise Therriault of Tiverton, RI, and Jeannine Therriault of Cumberland, RI; a son, Robert P. Therriault of Stamford, CT; four sisters, Helen Machado of Swansea, Theresa Baptista, and Lillian Rioux, Mary Jane Ventura, all of Fall River; a brother, Lionel Rioux of Washington; seventeen grand and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Raymond T. Therriault; and the sister of the late Anita Miller, Raymond, Adolph, Rene, and Ludger Rioux.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held Monday, March 3, 2008, at 8:00AM from THE HEBERT-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 945 S. Main St., Fall River. (VALET PARKING IN REAR of FACILITY), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM in Holy Ghost Church, Judson St., Tiverton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
