View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Rita A Demers, 89 of Marion Road Middleboro, formerly of Mt Hope Avenue Fall River, died Friday, January 27 2006 at Nemasket Health Center in Middleboro MA. She was born in Worcester MA a daughter of the late Anthony A & Helena ( Belanger) Demers.
She was an office clerk for the Fall River Knitting Mills and also the Cherry & Webb Company of Fall River for many years, before retiring in 1969. She had lived in Fall River since 1922 coming from Worcester She was a parishioner o Holy Name Church. She was a graduate of the former Thibodeau's Business College in Fall River, and a member of the Highland Heights Senior Citizens association.
She is survived by a brother Joseph L Demers of Long Beach California, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ovila Demers, Maurice A Demers, Raymond Demers.
Funeral Information
A memorial mass will be held Saturday, february 11, 2006 at 10:00am in Holy Name Church Hanover Street Fall River , burial was private. Arrangements by the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA.
