Beatrice Carpentier

August 14, 1911 - April 13, 2006

Beatrice (Maltais) Carpentier, 94, of Highland Avenue in Fall River formerly of Webster Street passed away Thursday April 13, 2006 at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Urban Carpentier. Mrs. Carpentier was born in Fall River, MA on August 14, 1911 the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Fabiana (Cote) Maltais, she spent her life raising her family. She was a communicant of Notre Dame de Lourdes Parish in Fall River for many years.

Survivors are a daughter Simone Evans of Dartmouth, MA three sons Armand Carpentier of Lake Mills, Wisconsin Alfred Carpentier of Assonet, MA Moril Carpentier of Wharton, New Jersey three sisters Rhea Lamontaign of Dartmouth, MA Yvette Perry of Arizona and Florence Coderre of Fall River, MA two brothers George Maltais of Dartmouth, MA and Moril Maltais of Dartmouth, MA four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Jeanne Nunn, and sister of the late Yvonne Camuso, Bertha Maltais, Fernand, Honore, Ernest and Edgar Maltais.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 9am from the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Notre Dame de Lourdes Church 529 Eastern Ave., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Fall River.
