ATTLEBORO – Jeannette M. (Turgeon) Jacques, 80, of Attleboro, died Friday, November 21, 2008, after a brief illness, in Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. She was the wife of sixty years of Wendell I. Jacques. Born and brought up in Central Falls, RI, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Yvonne (Lachance) Turgeon, she lived in South Attleboro before settling in Attleboro sixty years ago. After raising her family, Mrs. Jacques worked at Swank in Attleboro for fifteen years until retiring. She enjoyed playing BINGO and taking trips to Foxwoods with her brothers and sisters and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jacques is survived by a daughter, Wendy Laprade and her husband Kenneth of Seekonk; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Eklund and her husband Brendan, Kimberly D’Aiello and her husband Anthony and Kyle Laprade; three great-grandchildren, Andrew and Katherine Eklund and Gregory D’Aiello; three brothers, Roger Turgeon of Austin, TX, and Edward and Eugene “Butch” Turgeon, both of Barre, MA. Mrs. Jacques was the sister of the late Doris Vieira, Theresa Winters, Gloria Anthony and Leo, Roland and Phillip Turgeon. Funeral InformationHer funeral will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at 9:00AM from THE FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 126 S. Main St., Attleboro, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Mary’s Church, 385 Central Ave., Seekonk. Interment will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Rehoboth. Calling hours will be held Monday, November 24, from 3:00-7:00PM in the funeral home.
