Edythe L. Broida Fleish

DARTMOUTH – Edythe L. Broida Fleish, 88, formerly of Acushnet, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at the Sun Rise Assisted Living of Dartmouth (MA) after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Hyman Fleish. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jacob and the late Minnie (Gittelson) Broida, she settled in Acushnet in 1951.

Mrs. Fleish was a homemaker and an avid reader of books on tape. She also enjoyed the Action Group in Acushnet. She is survived by a son, William H. Fleisch and his wife Jeanne of Somerset; a daughter, Rebecca Fleisch Cordeiro and her husband Brian of Bridgewater; a brother, Paul Broida and his wife Alice of Huber Heights, Ohio; a sister, Sylvia Roth of New Bedford; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Fleisch of Dartmouth and Lorraine Fleisch of Clearwater, MA; three grandchildren, Brent Cordeiro of Charlotte, NC, Bryanne Cordeiro of Alexandria, VA, and Andrew Fleisch of Marstons Mills, MA. Mrs. Fleish was the sister of the late Phyllis Horvitz.
