View Tribute and Sign Guestbook REHOBOTH – Judith E. (Lincoln) Jones, 71, of Elm Street, Rehoboth, died Friday, February 12, 2010, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Born in Attleboro, a daughter of the late Norwood & Edith (Johnson) Lincoln, she was the wife of the late Fred H. Jones.
Judith worked as a secretary for the Fram Corporation and also the Rehoboth Board of Selectmen for over ten years before retiring twenty years ago. A Rehoboth resident since 1968, coming from nearby Cumberland, RI, she was a former member of the Evangelical Covenant Church. She was involved with the Boston Terrier Rescue League for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Robert and his wife Deborah Blanchette of Webster NH, and Richard Blanchette and his fiancé Alida Fusco of Palm Bay, Florida; a stepson, Fred A. & his wife Maryann Jones of Rumford, RI; a daughter, Carol and her husband David Blanchard of Woonsocket, RI; two sisters, Jeannette Wynne of Campbellsville, KY, and Linda Raulino. She was the grandmother of Benjamin Blanchette, Sara Blanchette; and the step-grandmother of Fred Jones, Michael Jones, Justin Jones, Christna Blanchard, and Barry, Jason Vincent, and Jeremy Blanchard. She was also the great-grandmother of Sydney Jones, David Roberts, Matthew Jones, Hailiegh Jones, and Jordan Jones. She also leaves two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Tuesday, February 16, 2010, from 3:00–7:00pm in THE FOLEY - HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts. Her funeral service will be private.
