View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Fairhaven – Roland L. Havey, 89, formerly of Main St., Fairhaven, died Sunday, December 6, 2009, at the Taber St. Nursing Home in Fairhaven. Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Jean B. & Emma P. (Dore) Hevey, he was the husband of the late Vivian C. (Alecrim) Hevey.
Mr. Havey was employed as a labourer for the John I. Paulding Manufacturing Co. for many years. A resident of the New Bedford and the Fairhaven community all his life, he had been residing at the Taber Street Nursing Home for the last nine years.
He is survived by a host of friends, both residents and staff at the Taber Street Nursing Home. He was the brother of the late Margaret Morencey, Noella Farland, and Yvonne Dearden.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at 10:00AM in THE FAIRHAVEN FUNERAL HOME , 117 Main St., Fairhaven, with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours and flowers are omitted.
