Luis M. Reis

Luis M. Reis, 53, of Taunton died on November 22, 2006 in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston following a brief illness. Born in St Michael, Azores, a son of the late Fernando and Maria (Medeiros) Reis.

He had been a resident of Taunton since 1967 and a communicant of St Anthony's Church. He was employed as a foreman for New England Concrete Pipe Company in Newton for over 20 years. He was also the owner of Clube Espirito Santo in Taunton.

He is survived by his wife Ana I (Paiva) Reis and his daughters, Diane Paiva and her husband Michael, Melanie Ardita and her husband Erik and Stephannie Reis Machado and her husband Ryan Machado; three grandchildren Anastatia Paiva, Alec and Lexi Ardita. He is also the brother of Michael Reis and Leonora Cordeiro of Taunton and the late Rosa Perreira.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 9AM in St Anthony's Church, Taunton. Interment St Joseph's Cemetery. Visiting hours on Monday from 5-8 in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. Taunton.
