Kathleen (Kaegael) Quirk

STRATTON, VT – Kathleen (Kaegael) Quirk, 53, of Stratton, VT, and Little Compton, RI, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 26, 2009, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Born in Fall River, the daughter of Theodore J. and Doris G. (Canuel) Kaegael, she was the wife of thirty-one years to Michael E. Quirk.

A graduate with the Class of 1973 of BMC Durfee High School, Kathy was the former owner of PDQ Printing in Swansea, MA. She also worked as a concierge at Stratton Mountain Ski Resort. An avid skier and swimmer, she spent numerous summers at the beach at Westport Harbour.

Survivors beside her husband and parents are a sister, Michelle Silvia of Fall River; four brothers, Joseph Kaegael of Westport, Theodore Kaegael of Middleboro, MA, Robert Gamache of Dunstable, MA, and Lionel Gamache of Naples, FL; and many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and grand-nephews.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held Monday, March 30, 2009, at 8:45AM from the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 569 Sanford Rd., Westport. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport. Calling hours with Video Photo Album will be held Sunday, March 29, from 2:00-7:00PM in the funeral home.
