Sylvia (Fleisher) Feldman

Sylvia (Fleisher) Feldman, 93, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at the Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Maurice J. Feldman.
Sylvia was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Max and Ida (Stern) Fleisher. She was educated in New York and then served her country during WWII with the United States Army. Mrs. Feldman then worked for various department stores, in New York. She was a former member of the Adas Israel Synagogue and its sisterhood for many years and hadassah, in Fall River and the Fall River Jewish War Veterans. Sylvia enjoyed being with her family, traveling, and going to the theatre.
Survivors are a daughter: Joan S. Feldman of Fall River; two sons: David M. Feldman and his companion Carolyn Mayes of Mississippi and Steven L. Feldman of Fall River; two grandchildren: Phylicia Feldman and her fiancé Ryan Stone of Vancouver; Naomi Feldman-Soares and her husband Fabio of Fall River; a great grandson Austin Brian Casey of Fall River; a sister: Clara Cohen of Oakland California; along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anne Probinsky, Hebert and Gershon Fleisher.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors for Mrs. Feldman will be held Monday, November 13, 2017, at 1pm, in the Hebrew Cemetery, McMahon Street, Fall River. Memorial Observance is Private at the request of the family.
