View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER – Claudia Baumgardner, 69, of Highland Avenue in Fall River, died on Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at the Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Facility in Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Everett and Loretta (White) Mello, she graduated from the BMC Durfee High School in Fall River and from the Bridgewater State College.
Mrs. Baumgardner was a fourth grade teacher at the Chace Street School in Somerset for thirty years before retiring several years ago. She was a communicant of Saint Joseph’s Church in Fall River and enjoyed sewing.
She leaves a daughter, Kyle E. Souza of Fall River, and several aunts and cousins.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 28, 2007, at 9:00AM from the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Saint Joseph’s Church, 1335 North Main Street, Fall River. Burial will follow the funeral Mass in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
