View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Grace Paton (Nicol) Carroll 89, of 1168 Highland Avenue, Fall River died Monday, April 3, 2006 at the Adams House. She was the wife of the late George C. Carroll. She was born August 19, 1916 in Fall River, MA; the daughter of the late Alexander G. and Grace (Paton) Nicol.
Mrs. Carroll worked as a Medical Secretary for Dr. Anthony A. Bernardo for 21 years retiring in 1980. She graduated from BMC Durfee High School in 1933 and from Thibodeau's Business College. She had also been Past Matron of the former Fall River Chapter #191 Order of the Eastern Star and a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church in Fall River.
She leaves two daughters, Janet C. Smith of Hyde Park, Ma; and Judith G. Cook of Middletown, R.I. and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral Information
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 7, 2006 at 11:30 am in the ADAMS HOUSE, 1168 Highland Avenue, Burial will be private. Arrangements by the Hathaway Funeral Home, 1813 Robeson Street, Fall River. Calling hours will be held from 10:30-11:30 am.
