View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Herbert E. Peets, Jr. age 75, of Parker St. Attleboro died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at home. He was born in Attleboro on April 24, 1931 a son of the late Herbert E. Peets, Sr. and and the late Ethel B. (Martin) Peets.
He was a lifelong resident of Attleboro and a 1949 graduate of Attleboro High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the NRA. He had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War as a Staff Sergeant with the 811th Air Police Squadron. Mr. Peets had been a tool maker for the Seekonk Manufacturing Company in Seekonk for many years before retiring in 2002.
He leaves two daughters Jeanne L. and her husband John J. Travers of Franklin, MA and Carol A. and her husband Richard A. Wolstencroft of South Attleboro. One brother Retired USAF Major Donald M. and his wife Florence Peets of Fort Worth, TX and several nieces and nephews. Three grandchildren Rebecca Wolstencroft of Attleboro, Ryan Wolstencroft of South Attleboro and Kathryn E. Travers of Franklin,MA.
