View Tribute and Sign Guestbook BROCKTON - Raymond L. Gauthier, Jr., 76, formerly of Attleboro, died Thursday, February 8, 2007, in the Brockton VA Hospital, Brockton, MA. Born in Attleboro June 24, 1930, a son of the late Raymond L. Gauthier, Sr., and Dorcas E. (Day), Gauthier, he was the husband of the late Charlotte E. (Limpus) Gauthier. He lived in Brockton for the past 26 years, having previously lived in Attleboro for many years.
Mr. Gauthier served with the US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as an engraver for the former Arthur Nelson Company of Attleboro for many years before he retired. He was a an avid fisherman.
Mr. Gauthier is survived by three daughters, Barbara A. Gauthier and her fiancé Joseph M. Baldasaro of North Attleboro, Lynn D. Potter and her husband Bruce Rind of Derwood, MD, and Laurie J. and her husband Dale E. Byers of Attleboro; three grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Timothy Potter and Nathan Gauthier; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
His Funeral will be held Monday, February 12, 2007, at 6:30PM in the FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152), in Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may visit with the family from 4:00-6:30PM before the service. Burial will be private.
