Margaret J. (Kelly) Graban, 98 years old, wife of the late John Graban died Monday in the Clifton Rehabilitation Nursing Center, Somerset.
Born in Brooklyn, daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Josephine ( O’Malley) Kelly. She was educated in New York City schools.
Margaret and her late husband had been residents of the Whittenton Section of Taunton for many years. She and John had been married 64 years before his death.
She was a great cook, enjoyed playing golf and playing cards. Margaret was a former member of the Westside Seniors, Oakland Seniors and the Taunton Women’s Club.
She was the mother of Patricia Commissiong and her husband Rudy of Yarmouth Port and Sharon Sullivan and her husband Gerald of Venice, FL. She was the mother of the late Stephen Graban of FL. She is the grandmother of Tara Saltzman, Jonathan Graban and Jessie Joynt and the great grandmother of Quinn, Lainey and Shay Saltzman and Lyla Joynt. Margaret was sister of the late Helen Presti, Winifred Westall, Elizabeth Gratt, Stephen Kelly, Anna Mae Tremblay and Thomas Kelly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Time of Remembrance for Margaret and her late son Stephen, who died in Florida on Nov, 4, 2016, on Friday October 13, 2017 at 11AM in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave, ( Route 138 South) Taunton. Visiting hours will be from 9 to 11 AM. Interment Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
