View Tribute and Sign Guestbook EAST TAUNTON Ruth M. (Wyllie) Wile, 87, died on Saturday, April 14, 2007, in Marian Manor, following a period of failing health. Born in Franklin, MA, a daughter of the late John and Eliza Wyllie, she was educated in the Franklin Public Schools and was a graduate of the Dean Junior College in Franklin.
Ms. Wile was a retired Assistant Treasurer of the Paul A. Dever State School in Taunton. She previously worked for the Grandfield Driving School, Ansonia Mills, Fernandes Supermarkets and for Dary Brothers, all in office capacities.
She is survived by her children , Dorian Red Wile and his wife Jaline of Taunton, Cynthia Blais and her husband James of East Taunton, and Penelope Murphy of Taunton; and she was the mother of the late Gordon Wile. She was the grandmother of nine and the great- grandmother of ten. She was also the sister of the late Betty Stockdale and John Wyllie.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held in the CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, on Thursday, April 19, 2007, at 12:00 Noon. A visiting hour will be observed from 11:00AM to 12:00 Noon, prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the Pine Hill Cemetery, East Taunton.
