Marcelle (Hamel) Beaulieu

FALL RIVER – Marcelle (Hamel) Beaulieu, 90, currently of North Main Street, Fall River, died Monday, February 11, 2008, in the Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late Henri Hamel and the late Leda (Sylvain) Hamel, she was the widow of Arthur E. Beaulieu, Esq.

Mrs. Beaulieu was married in the Fall River area and lived in the city and in Somerset while her husband practiced law. In 1968 they moved to Seminole, FL. She returned to the area in 1999 to take up residence at the Sakonnet Bay Manor. She was a fervent golfer and homemaker through most of her life.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald A. Beaulieu and his wife Barbara of Tiverton, RI, and Paul H. Beaulieu and his wife Christine of Berkley, MA; a daughter, Pauline B. Quinn of Hampton, NH; a niece whom she raised, Maryse H. Vossler of Auburn, NH; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
