Mark D. "Welby" Barry

DARTMOUTH – Mark D. "Welby" Barry, 38, of Dartmouth, died unexpectedly at home Saturday, January 19, 2008. Born in New Bedford, the son of Gordon L. Barry of Dartmouth and Sandra (Collins) Spirlett of Florida, he lived most of his life in Dartmouth and attended services at the Salvation Army in New Bedford.

Mr. Barry was self-employed as a carpenter and enjoyed fishing and hunting with his father. In addition to his parents, he leaves a brother, Gregory J. Barry of Dartmouth; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Barry was the grandson of the late Edith Lesveque and the late Theresa Luiz and the brother of the late Gordon L. Barry, Jr.

Funeral Information

His funeral service will be held Friday, January 25, 2008, at 10:00AM in the DONAGHY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford, followed by interment in Acushnet Cemetery.
