View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER – Clara (Simons) Alves-Jennings, 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at the Kimwell Nursing Home in Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Robert Simons, she was the wife of the late Lester Jennings.
She spent her life raising her family.
She was the mother of four sons, John Alves, Edward Alves, Steven Alves, all of Lorain, Ohio, and Joseph Alves of Fall River; Marie Church and Marion Alves also of Lorain, Ohio; twenty-eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 9, 2007, from 10:30AM to 12:00 noon, with services following in the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
