FAIRHAVEN – Mildred A. (Perham) Ferreira, 84, of Fairhaven, died on Friday, December 7, 2007, in the Alden Court Nursing and Rehab Center in Fairhaven, with her loving husband of sixty-one years, Jon Ferreira, at her side.

Born in East Burke, Vermont, the daughter of the late Herbert E. and the late Elin Sofia (Myhrbeck) Perham, she grew up in New Bedford where she graduated from New Bedford High School and lived in Fairhaven since 1959. Mrs. Ferreira was a secretary at Morse Cutting Tools in New Bedford from 1947 until retiring in 1982.

She is survived by her husband and twenty-two nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ferreira was the last of eight children.

Private arrangements were by THE FAIRHAVEN FUNERAL HOME, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven.
