Michelle L. Alexander, 22, of Fairhaven died Sunday, December 4, 2005 as a result of injuries sustained from a car accident.

Born July 5, 1983 in Wareham, the daughter of Beverly (Luz) Alexander, she lived in New Bedford before moving to Fairhaven 10 years ago.

Miss Alexander was a 2001 graduate of Fairhaven High School. She worked as a manager at Eblens Clothing in Fairhaven. Her favorite pass times were shopping, dancing and making people laugh. She always wanted to go into modeling and she was known for her beautiful smile. Michelle's most loved and favorite character was Tigger.

She is survived by her mother; her paternal grandfather, Manuel L. Luz of Fairhaven; her companion, Mark Benevides of New Bedford; twin brothers, Michael Alexander of New Bedford and Martin Alexander of Fairhaven; a sister, Nicole Luz of New Bedford; an aunt, Dianne Luz of Fairhaven; a loving cousin with whom she lived, Mal Luz of Fairhaven; a nephew, Nirael Cruz and a niece, Alana Alexander.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be Friday, December 9, 2005 at 9:00 AM from the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Fairhaven. Interment will be in River-Side Cemetery, Fairhaven. Calling hours will be Thursday, December 8, 2005 from 5-8 PM.
