Edward J. "Buster" Rainville

Edward J. "Buster" Rainville  age 80 of Lafayette  St.  Woonsocket died Monday, February 27, 2006 at home surrounded by his family. He was the  loving  husband for 59 years  of  Elvira F. (Malito) Rainville.  He  was  born in Woonsocket on April 27, 1925 a  son  of the late  Eugene and  Freida  (Haueisen)  Rainville. He was a life long resident of Woonsocket. Mr. Rainville had  served with  Company A  of  the 40th Tank Battalion  with the US Army during WW II. He had worked  for  many years as a machine operator for the Ocean State Finishing Company and the Jo-Ann Plush Company of Woonsocket and later worked in the Maintenance Department of the Landmark Hospital for seven years before retiring in 1990. He was an avid fisherman and amateur photographer.  

Besides  his  wife  he leaves two sons  Edward J. Rainville,Jr.  of Plainville, MA and  Richard A. Rainville of Burrillville, RI.  Four  daughters Sandra F. Trudeau of  Sanford, FL, Vivian Perry  of Providence, Janet  M. Robin of Woonsocket and Donna M. Archambault  of Loxahatchee, FL. One brother  Paul  Rainville of  Clearwater, FL and two sisters his twin  Ethel Rochefort  of  Woonsocket and Jacqueline  Archambault  of  Tucson, AZ. Nineteen grandchildren and  twenty great grand children and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends  are invited  to attend a Mass of Christian  Burial on  Saturday at  10 AM in  Precious  Blood  Church, 94 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket. Full Military Honors will be held at the church after Mass. Arrangements by THE MENARD  FUNERAL HOME,  127  Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket RI
