Roland H. Valliere

Roland H. Valliere., 62, of Restful Valley Rd., in Tiverton passed away Monday December 4, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River he was the husband of thirty seven years to Janet (Howarth) Valliere. Born in Fall River, MA on December 5, 1943 the son of the late Roland V. and Mary Alice (Dufour) Valliere.

Mr. Valliere worked as a foreman for the former Chace Curtain Company in Fall River for twenty nine years, he then went on to own the Sate Line Family Restaurant in Fall River for ten years before retiring in 2005. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Fall River, a hunting safety instructor for the State of Rhode Island for twenty years, a member of Muzzle Loaders Association, National Rendezvous Association, Shake A leg Organization, an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman.

Survivors beside his wife are Donna A. Armstrong of Tiverton, RI Pamela J. Quintin of Somerset, MA Michelle A. Pacheco of Tiverton, RI two sisters Jean Ames of Bolton, CT Madeline A. Wilding of Tiverton, RI a brother Ronald E. Valliere of Fall River, MA seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Irene Yancy, Robert and Roger Valliere.

Funeral Information

His funeral will be held on Monday at 9am from the Hebert-Hathaway Funeral Home, 945 S. Main St., Fall River, MA followed by a funeral mass at 10am in Holy Trinity Parish 951 Stafford Rd., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial is Private at the Families request. Calling Hours Sunday 4-7pm.
