View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER – Gladys (Britland) Ouellette, 85, formerly of Robeson Street, Fall River passed away, Saturday July 19, 2008, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. She was the wife of Rene Ouellette of Tiverton, RI, with whom she shared sixty-three years of marriage.
Born in Cheshire, England, the daughter of the late James J. and Emily E. (Roughsedge) Britland, Mrs. Ouellette worked in the garment industry in Fall River for many years as a stitcher.
In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Ouellette is survived by a son, Paul Ouellette and his wife Kathy of Tiverton; a sister, Alice Blackburn of England; two grandchildren, Christopher Ouellette of Somerset and Pauline Ouellette of Tiverton; and two great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Ashley.
