View Tribute and Sign Guestbook NEW BEDFORD – Jose Santos, 42, of New Bedford, died Friday, November 21, 2008, in St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford following a long illness. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the son of Eva DeJesus of New Bedford and the late Emilio Santos, he came to New Bedford when he was 12 years old.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Santos is survived by Brianna Lee Santos, whom he raised as a daughter; three brothers, Miguel Perez and Elvin Valentin, both of New Bedford, and Manuel Valentin of Puerto Rico; two sisters, Magaly Romero of New Bedford and Adabelle Cuebas of Puerto Rico; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
His graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at 10:00AM in Rural Cemetery, New Bedford. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 25, from 7:00-9:00 PM in THE DONAGHY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford.
