View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON–Ruth J. Ridley, 72, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Born in Dighton, the daughter of the late Rolan and Ilka (Schendelwig) Ridley, she was educated in the Taunton Public Schools and was a member of St John’s Episcopal Church.
For years she was a supervisor at Leach and Garner Metal Company in Attleboro. She enjoyed travel, kayaking, her friends, family gatherings, and caring for others. She is survived by her aunts, Charlotte Roux and Alice Waterman and her cousins, Russell Morris, George White, Raymond Morris, Josephine Smith, Kenneth Marcotte, Ronald Marcotte, Joan Waterman, Marilyn Moskos, Carolyn Waterman, Alice Hause, Franklin Brown, Lorraine Collier, Elaine Poore, Eileen Beaulieu.
Funeral Information
A funeral service conducted by the Very Rev. John Bacon will be held in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Saturday, May 16, 2009, at 10:00AM. Interment will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday, May 15, from 5:00-8:00PM.
