FALL RIVER – Elizabeth J. (Braz) Ziccardi, 80, of Fall River, died Friday, January 2, 2009, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late John R. and Isabel (Giblin) Braz, Sr., she was the wife of Alfred M. Ziccardi with whom she shared sixty-two years of marriage.

Devoting her life to raising her family, Mrs. Ziccardi enjoyed traveling and reading as well as spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Ziccardi leaves a daughter, Donna Renahan of Greenbelt, Maryland; two sons, Joseph Ziccardi and his wife Nancy of Dartmouth, MA, and Alfred M. Ziccardi, Jr., of Orlando, FL; a brother, Raymond E. Braz of Melbourne, FL; a granddaughter, Lisa Cost Barnes of Maryland; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John R. Braz, Jr.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at 11:00AM in the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, with a calling hour prior to the start of the funeral, from 10:00 to 11:00AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow the funeral service in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
