Valerie M. (Robbins) Vieira, 59, of Dartmouth died unexpectedly at home on July 6, 2006.

Born in Acushnet, the daughter of the late Raymond A. and the late Muriel E. (Smith) Robbins, she was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth and graduate of Dartmouth High School, class of 1965. She later graduated from Barrington College in RI. She was a customer service representative and also assistant manager for Fleet Bank.

Valerie is survived by two sisters, Nedra Lopes of New Bedford and Beth L. Gilbert and her husband Edward F. Gilbert of Mont Vernon,NH. She was the companion of the late Hap Conklin.
