Marian Mercer Easterbrooks

View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Marian (Kingsley) Mercer Easterbrooks, 98 of Swansea died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the home of her daughter and family. She was the wife of the late George Mercer and Briggs A. Easterbrooks Sr. to whom she was married to for sixty-six years July 1997. Born November 19,1907 in Swansea, MA; she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Lena (Peckham) Kingsley.
Mrs. Easterbrooks had assited for many years in her husband's business maintaining the bookeeping and running the Touisett Green House. Before her marriage she had been a cashier and bookkeeper at the former S.S. Kresge Company five and ten cent store, Fall River.
A member of United Parish Church, Fall River, she was a 1924 graduate of BMC Durfee High School and a 1925 graduate of the former Thibodeau's Business School in Fall River.
She leaves one son, Briggs Alden Easterbrooks, Jr., of Eastham, MA; one daughter, Holly E. Neville of Swansea, MA; four grandchildren, one niece, two nephews. Mrs. Easterbrooks was the sister of the late Julia Kingsley and Esther G. Kingsley and Edna K. Dore.
Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 11:00 am In the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
