TAUNTON – Linda Ann (Levy) White, of Taunton and East Taunton, died at her home in Taunton on Thursday, August 27, 2009, surrounded by her family, at the age of 66. Born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Roger and Pearl (Luther) Levy, she was educated in the Bridgewater Public Schools.

She owned and operated her own beauty salon, Jo-Lynn’s Beauty Salon in East Taunton, for many years. She previously worked the former Ruby Salon in Bourne before opening her own shop in East Taunton. She was member of the Sunrise Church in Carver. A wonderful and devoted mother and a friend to all, Linda enjoyed playing games on her computer, chatting on her computer with her friends, going to BINGO and crocheting.

She is survived by a daughter, Michelle R. Andrade and Thomas Feighery of Seekonk; and a son, John S. Tanguay and his wife Ruth of Taunton. She was the mother of the late Robert A. Tanguay, the sister of Joan Hiltz of Raynham and Carol Taylor of Lynn and James Levy and the late Roger Levy and Bruce Levy. Linda was the grandmother of John-Paul, Robert Allen, Steven, Zachary and Jillian Tanguay and the great-grandmother of Hailey Tanguay.

Funeral Information

A private family service will be held at a later date in the Sunrise Church of Carver. Arrangements by Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. Taunton, MA 02780.
