Elaine R. Henault

WOONSOCKET – Elaine R. Henault, 86, of Rhodes Avenue in North Smithfield, RI, died on Sunday, October 21, 2007, in the Hospice St. Antoine in North Smithfield. Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Eugene H. and Blanche (Sweeney) Gendron, she was the wife of the late Roland J. Martin and the late Arthur I. Henault.

A lifelong resident of Woonsocket and a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Woonsocket, Mrs. Henault had been the Secretary and Second Vice President of St. Joseph’s Senior Citizens Club as well as the Second Vice President of the Ladies Guild of St. Joseph’s Church. She was employed as a molder at the Tupper Ware Company in North Smithfield for twenty-five years before retiring.

Mrs. Henault leaves two sons, Donald J. and his wife Suzanne J. Martin of Foxboro, MA, and Laurent E. Martin of Colorado Springs, CO; one daughter, Janice C. and her husband Richard A. Hall of Burrillville, R; two step-children, Pauline Dagesse and Richard Henault; two brothers, Laurent and his wife Janet Gendron and Melvin Gendron, both of Woonsocket; and one sister, Loraine D. and her husband Rene F. Cote of Woonsocket. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Joyce E. Lamoureux and Roland A. Martin and the sister of the late Eugene, Leonard, Norman, Paul, William and Bernard Gendron.

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM on Friday, November 16, 2007, in St. Joseph’s Church, 1200 Mendon Road, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Wrentham Rd, Bellingham, MA.
