Lois E. Walkden

Lois E. (Perrault) Walkden, 60 years old, died in St Luke's Hospital on Thursday September 7, 2006. Wife of John “Bobby” Walkden of East Freetown, she was born in Providence RI to Hubert Perrault now of Raynham and the late Rachel (Sherman) Perrault.

Educated in Taunton Schools she attend Air Line Attendent School in Connecticut before her marriage 38 years ago. She attended Union Congregational Church and was married in St Thomas Episcopal Church both in Taunton. She was formerly employed by the former Texas Instruments Corp in Attleboro until she had her family. She enjoyed painting, spending time with her dogs.

She is the mother of Christine E. Walkden of East Freetown and the late Jeffrey Walkden who died suddenly in February of 2004. Besides her husband, daughter and father she is survived by her daughter in law Nicole “Nicky” La Perriere of New Bedford and her grand children, Jacob Walkden, Samantha Walkden and Brittany Tainsh.

Funeral Information

A Funeral service will be held in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South) Taunton on Tuesday at 6 PM following visiting hours from 4 to 6PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
