View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Florence E. (Morse) Elliott, 97, of Marion, MA and formerly of Fairhaven, MA, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 15, 2005 in the Sippican Healthcare Center, Marion, MA. She was the widow of George T. Elliott.
Born August 2, 1908 in New Bedford, MA the daughter of the late George and Mabel S. (Morse) Morse, she was a life long resident of Fairhaven. She had been living in Marion since 1999. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Fairhaven.
Mrs. Elliott worked as a stitcher for 40 years for Colonial Textile. She retired in 1962. She was the Past President of the Son’s and Daughters of the Civil War Auxillary.
She is survived by a son, Milton A. Elliot and his wife Gail of Fairhaven, MA; a daughter, Bessie Wrenn and her husband Gordon of State College, PA; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one nephew and several nieces. She was the sister of the late Raymond Morse.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Tuesday, October 18, 2005 from 6-8 PM. All other arrangements are private.
