View Tribute and Sign Guestbook NEW BEDFORD – Senhorinha "Sadie" R. (Santos) Cambra, 65, of Rockdale Avenue, New Bedford, died on Monday, July 30, 2007, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Manuel & Senhorinha (Cardoza) Santos, Ms. Cambra was a certified nursing assistant, employed by the Fall River Nursing Home for more than twenty years before retiring ten years ago.
Ms. Cambra was a resident of New Bedford for three years, having relocated from Hartwell Street in Fall River. She was a parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Church. She was a member of the 1199 union and was also a shop steward.
Ms. Cambra is survived by a brother, Ronald Santos of Fall River; a sister, Linda Pacheco of Westport; a nephew, William Almeida of Fall River; two nieces, Stephanie Santos of Fall River and Stacy Santos of Warwick, RI. She was the sister of the late Manuel Santos and Anthero “Teddy” Santos.
