View Tribute and Sign Guestbook MANVILLE – Jeannette D. Marcil, 83, of Old River Road, Manville, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2007, in Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Emile and Alma (Larue) Auger, she was the wife of the late Maurice A. Marcil.
A lifelong resident of Manville and a communicant of St. James’ Church, Mrs. Marcil worked on the assembly line for the A. T. Cross Company in Lincoln for fifteen years before retiring in 1981. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves one son, Maurice E. and his wife Lori A. Marcil of Woonsocket; and two daughters, Janet J. and her husband Edward J. Dumoulin and Ruth R. and her husband Robert J. Biagetti, both of Manville; one brother, Royal Auger of North Smithfield; and a sister-in-law, Theresa Marcil and a brother-in-law, Robert Marcil, both of Manville. She also leaves three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Richard and Doris Auger, Dorothy Trudeau and Violette Cawley.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2007, at 9:00AM from The MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 71 Central St., Manville, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. James’ Church, Division Street, Manville. Burial will follow the funeral Mass in the family lot in St. James’ Cemetery, Manville. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held this Friday from 5:00-7:00PM in the funeral home.
