FALL RIVER, MA – Thomas J. McAllister, 85, of Fall River, died Monday, March 1, 2010, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. Mr. McAllister was born in Fall River, the son of the late Thomas J. and the late Mary (Regan) McAllister.

He is survived by his two nieces, Dianne Boucher and her husband Roger of Sewell, NJ, and Joy Walmsley and her husband Bill of Bangor, ME; and by his nephews, David Blanchette and his wife Mary Jane of Fall River, MA; and his brother-in-law, Edmond G. Blanchette of Somerset, MA. He is also survived by his soul mate, Jenny, and several great-nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Margaret Blanchette and the uncle of the late Stephen Blanchette.

Funeral Information

His funeral service will be held Thursday, March 4, 2010, at 9:00am from the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Saint Louis de France Church, 56 Buffinton St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held Thursday morning from 8:00-9:00am. Burial will be private.
