View Tribute and Sign Guestbook WOONSOCKET – Rita (Lacombe) Namaka, 86, of Front Street, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. Born in Lincoln, RI, the daughter of the late Joseph and Albina (Phaneuf) LaCombe, she was the wife of the late Brazil Namaka.
Mrs. Namaka was employed by Miller Electric as an inspector for twenty years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Saint Anthony’s Church in Woonsocket and was a member of the Crepeau Court Social Club.
She leaves one son Russell Namaka of Parrish, Florida; two brothers, Roger and Thomas LaCombe, both of Cumberland, RI; two sisters, Doris Brunette of Woonsocket, RI, and Claire Plante of Cumberland, RI; four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 28, 2007, at 9:00AM from the MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Avenue Woonsocket, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Saint Anthony’s Church, 128 Greene Street. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00-8:00PM in the funeral home.
