View Tribute and Sign Guestbook DARTMOUTH – Penelope (Antonoulis) Helgeland, 83, of New Bedford, died Thursday, January 31, 2008, at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Christian Helgeland.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Charles and the late Athena (Skaltsas) Antonoulis, she was a lifelong resident of the city and a communicant of St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church in New Bedford.
Mrs. Helgeland was a home maker.
She is survived by her son, Robert C. Helgeland of New Bedford, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Nicholas and Arthur Antonoulis.

Her calling hours will be Sunday, February 3, 2008, from 2:00-5:00PM in THE DONAGHY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford. All other arrangements will be private.
