Rosetta (Lafleur) Rebello

SWANSEA, MA – Rosetta (Lafleur) Rebello, 89, of Swansea, died Thursday, April 8, 2010, at the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Goff) Lafleur, she was the wife of the late John S. Rebello.

Mrs. Rebello worked as a supervisor for the former Stella Anne Frocks for eighteen years, retiring in 1983. She was a former communicant of the former Saint Michael Parish in Swansea and was active at one time with the Royal Travelers in Fall River.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and as well as several great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Theresa Galland, and Roland, Everett and Joseph Lafleur.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 9:00am from the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME for FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, 530 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, with burial to follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery in Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 13, from 4:00-7:00pm in the funeral home.
