SOMERSET – Connie A. (Moyer) Bancroft, 61, of Fisher Way, Somerset, died tragically Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, having suffered injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born in Brookline, MA, the daughter of the late Warren & Mary ( Majewski) Moyer, she was the wife of James Bancroft. They were well into the planning of their fortieth wedding anniversary celebration in November.

She was a Somerset resident for more than twenty years, relocating from South Dartmouth, and was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Somerset. Connie also proudly sang for her church’s folk choir, and Friends of St. Anne’s theatre productions and loved leading young children in song.

Besides her husband of forty years, Connie is survived by three sons, Matthew Bancroft of Somerset, Douglas and his wife Lisa Bancroft of Fall River, and Gregory Bancroft of Stoughton.
