Claire (McNeil) Jestus

NORTON – Claire (McNeil) Jestus, 76, of Norton, formerly of Attleboro, and Dighton, MA, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2008, at her Norton residence. She was the wife of the late Howard D. Jestus. Born in Dighton, the daughter of the late George L. and Mildred (Gatzke) McNeil, Mrs. Jestus worked for Texas Instruments as a quality inspector for twenty-five years, retiring in 1994.

Mrs. Jestus was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Way in Raynham. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and crocheting.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathi Johnson of St. Cloud, MN; three sons, Glen Jestus of Norton, Gary Jestus of Ham Lake, MN, and Gene Jestus of Springfield, MO; a sister, Muriel McCain of Dighton; a brother, Vernon McNeil of Wrentham, MA; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held Friday, October 3, 2008, at 10:00AM in the Lutheran Church of the Way, 110 Robinson St., Raynham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Village Cemetery, Rehoboth.
