View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Bernice Ann Carroll, 84, of Fairhaven died Thursday, January 4, 2007. Born in Acushnet, the daughter of the late Francis and the late Julia (O'Neill) Carroll, she lived in Watertown before coming back to the area in 1986.
Miss Carroll graduated from Carney Hospital School of Nursing in Dorchester and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years at Brighton Marine Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Fairhaven and a member of the Legion of Mary.
She is survived by several devoted nieces and nephews. Miss Carroll was the sister of the late Marguerite L. Carroll, Kathleen Taveira, Ruth Van Gulden, Helen Hirst and Frances Carroll.
Funeral Information
Her funeral will be Monday at 10:00 AM from the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main St., Fairhaven followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Fairhaven. Interment in River-Side Cemetery, Fairhaven.
