View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON – Catherine M. (Freeman) Celona, 65, of Norton Avenue, Taunton, died Friday, August 21, 2009, at the Taunton Nursing Home. Born in Taunton, a daughter of the late Vincent & Lucille (Lima) Freeman, she worked as a retail sales clerk for Wal*Marts in Raynham.
Catherine was educated in the Taunton Public Schools and was a parishioner of St. Andrew’s Church, formerly St. Joseph’s Church. She had also sponsored children in Africa.
She is survived by her longtime loving companion, Vincent McAloon of Taunton; four sons, Louis and his wife Debbie Celona of Fall River, Vincent Celona of Taunton, Rocco Celona of Taunton, Jamie Celona of Fall River; and a daughter, Erica and her husband Todd Ferreira of Taunton. She was the grandmother of nine and the great-grandmother of six.
