Thomas Kilgour Webster Jr., 78, of Dighton passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at his home. He was the husband of fifty-five years to Rebecca (Babbitt) Webster.
Thomas was born in North Dighton, the son of the late Thomas Kilgour Webster Sr. and Margaret (Lucas) Webster. He was a graduate of Dighton High School class of 1957. Mr. Webster served his country with the United States Coast Guard. Tom worked as a tool maker for Texas Instruments. While working he also earned his Associates degree in business management. Mr. Webster was a member and deacon at the West Dighton Christian Church and the Berkley Congregational Church. Tom was a former Boy Scout Master with Troop 45 and traveled to Blair Athol, in Scotland, with the scouts. He was also a Mason for fifty years combined at the King David Lodge A.F. & A.M, in Taunton, and the Pioneer Lodge A.F. & A.M.
Survivors besides his wife are a grandson: Ian James Kilgour Webster of Bennington, VT; a daughter in law: Diane Mead of Bennington, VT; along with several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Gideon K. Webster and brother of the late Penny McNair and Joyce Hauck.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Webster will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017, at 1pm, in the Berkley Congregational Church, 13 South Main Street, Berkley. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours are omitted, burial with Military honors will be privately held at the request of the family.
