FAIRHAVEN – Donna I. Piknick Jennings, 67, of Church Street, in Fairhaven, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. Born in Hyannis, MA, the daughter of the late Walter and Cynthia (Munroe) Picnick, she was the beloved wife and best friend of her husband, Edward H. Jennings, Jr.

Mrs. Jennings was a licensed nurse and a hairdresser. A caring person, she always looked out for others and loved spending time with her family.

Besides her husband of forty years, she leaves two brothers, Walter Piknick and his wife Beth of Centerville, MA, and Stanley Piknick and his wife Heidi of North Waterboro, Maine; in-laws, Michael Jennings and his wife Elaine of Mattapoisett, MA; Susan Jennings of Freetown, MA; Wayne and Cynthia Hamlet of Dartmouth, MA; Paula Jennings of Fairhaven, MA; her Godchildren, Nephews, Michael Jennings, Jr., Walter J. Piknick, III, and Thomas Piknick; and several other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Memorial Mass will be said Saturday, June 7, 2008, at 10:00AM in Saint Joseph’s Church, Spring and Adams Streets, Fairhaven, MA; burial will be private.
