Alice N. Hall

Alice N. (Noack) Hall, 94, formerly of New Bedford, died Tuesday, November 1, 2005 in the Eden Park Nursing Home. She was the widow of the late Thomas Hall.

Born October 16, 1911 in New York City the daughter of the late Max and Betsy Ann (Scowsroft) Noack she lived in New York before moving to New Bedford where she lived for about 50 years. She was a former member of the Grace Episcopal Church, New Bedford.

Mrs. Hall was employed as a secretary by the City of New Bedford Election Commissioner prior to relocating in Vermont in 1994. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed embroidery and quiltwork.

She is survived by a daughter, Betsy Hall of Reno, NV; a granddaughter, Lara Fernandez; a grandson, Jeremy Dowdall; and two great grandsons, Diego and Jason Fernandez.

Funeral Information

Her graveside service will be Friday, December 9, 2005 at 11:00 AM in Oak Grove Cemetery, New Bedford. Arrangements are by the Donaghy Funeral Home, 465 County Street, New Bedford.
